SnowFX- Snow Generator for Blender
The SnowFX tool makes snow modeling a lot more easy & fun to create within Blender 2.8.
You can drop snow on the go, or paint using the Snow Painter for more art direction.
Creating snow in the CGI world, can be pretty tedious. You'd have to deal with a time consuming setup and this tool converts that process into an easy to use operator for painting/dropping snow directly onto your objects.
Snow generation isn't the only thing this tool is capable of, it includes a Snow Editor which lets you alter the shape & look of the snow after applying.

Documentation
Installation: Once you have downloaded the .zip folder. Go to your preferences in Blender & head over to the Add-ons Tab. There you will find the "Install..." button where you can locate the .zip file. Select the 'SnowFXv1_1.zip' file & click 'Install Add-on'. Search for SnowFX & enable the add-on. The tool will be located in the SnowFX tab in your toolshelf.
With this tool, adding snow to your object only takes 4 Steps: Add Snow > Paint >Apply > Edit

Snow Painter Controls:
- LeftClick = Add Snow
- RightClick = Melt Snow
- Ctrl+Mousewheel Srolling = Brush Proximity Radius
- Esc key = Exit Painting mode
